More air & improved energy efficiency with BOGE

On-going product development at BOGE has led to significant improvements in the free air delivery of the 45 to 90 kW oil free water cooled SO -W series screw compressors. System efficiency has also been improved with reductions of up to 4% in the specific power required (kW/m3/min). The result across the range has been to create more compressed air more energy efficiently.

Continual product development has led to the enhancement of the BOGE SO series oil free water cooled screw compressor range. A completely new design concept featuring a separate suction box which ensures the coolest air intake, optimised internal flow diameters and optimised coolers has resulted in improved performance. Every change has had an effect on free air delivery (FAD) and the specific power characteristics. Consequently the result of these developments has been a significant increase in FAD and an equally noticeable improvement in specific power requirement. This increase in FAD has improved the BOGE SO -W series output by as much as 13% and the best specific power improvement has been lowered by up to 4%.

The SO series from BOGE provides an energy efficient oil free screw compressor ideally suited to those industries where oil contamination is unthinkable such as the food and drinks, and, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

The SO 61 - 126 W models are available in the standard pressure of 8, 10 and 13 bar. All models come with the added option of a frequency convertor - especially useful to ensure optimum energy efficiency where the demand for compressed air fluctuates.
