A winner in its class!

On-going product development at BOGE Compressors Ltd has led to significant improvements in the free air delivery of the popular C and CL, 2.2 to 7.5 kW, series of screw compressors. The result across the range has been to create more compressed air without any additional power.

Since the launch of the C and CL series some five years ago BOGE has continued to develop and enhance the product range. In that time numerous small design changes to the screw block have been made, which have resulted in improved performance. Every change has had an effect on free air delivery (FAD) and the specific power characteristics. Recent ISO 1217 Appendix C tests as a result of the developments has shown a significant increase in FAD and an equally noticeable improvement in specific power requirement. The results mean that in terms of both FAD and specific power the BOGE C and CL range now excels.

The increase in FAD now makes the BOGE C and CL series the best in their drive range. Outputs have increased by as much as 16% and the best specific power improvement has been lowered by a similar amount.

The C and CL series from BOGE provides a small and quiet screw compressor ideally suited to the smaller industrial compressor user, such as garages and workshops.

These small industrial compressors have already proven to be winners in their class where reliability and longevity are prerequisites for the end users. From inception the BOGE C and CL series offered great value for money. This is now even more the case!

Apart from this improved efficiency the CL series is noted for its very low sound pressure levels, high performance damping and lamellar graphite casting ensure highly effective silencing producing sound pressure levels as low as 59 dB(A), making it ideal for point of use applications as well as a premium OEM choice.

The compact design further ensures a small footprint providing a space saving solution ideal for the workshop environment where space is at a premium.

All components and parts are easily accessible from one point allowing service and maintenance work to be carried out in a hassle-free manner.

The C series is available in the standard pressure of 8, 10 and 13 bar with the CL series available in 10 and 13 bar. Output capacities range from 0.234 - 1.200 m3/min, motor power 2.2 to 7.5 kW.
