C&L Industrial expands into the Midlands with acquisition of R.W. Harris & Co

C&L Industrial Ltd, a specialist in the supply of industrial compressed air solutions based in Galway, has just announced the acquisition of R.W. Harris & Co Ltd, Longford. This acquisition allows C&L Industrial, which has a nationwide network of distributor sales and service centres, to develop its operations in a burgeoning commercial region.

Established in 1982 R.W. Harris & Co Ltd. specialises in the sale and service of industrial compressed air equipment and high pressure cleaners. Over the past 24 years, Proprietor, Bert Harris has developed a successful sales and service business within the local region.

Colum Whelan, Managing Director of C&L Industrial, a long term key supplier to R.W. Harris said "We are delighted to be expanding our business operations into a growing commercial region such as Longford. R.W. Harris boasts over two decades of local industry knowledge and expertise. Building on these strengths will allow us to grow and develop the C&L nationwide sales and service capabilities.

Bert Harris will continue to guide the Longford business for C&L. So, for our newly acquired customers, except for a name change, it will be business as usual."
